How do I choose the right CBD brand?

CBD. It seems to be everywhere.  Nutrition shops, pharmacies, online, smoke shops and gas stations, even dedicated retail CBD-only stores.  For a newcomer, the options can be overwhelming.  There are a lot of great CBD companies out there, but unfortunately there are still some who give the rest a bad name. 

At best, these brands peddle products with very little CBD compared to what they boast on their labels. Sorry, shady Amazon sellers, but there is no way to fit 500,000mg ( over 17 ounces) of anything into a 1-ounce bottle!  Compressed air, maybe?                         

At worst, you may purchase a product that is potentially dangerous.  We will be the first to tell you, there is little to no regulatory oversight on CBD products, and it is up to each company to self-govern.

• Investigate! Google them. Ask around. Check their social media pages. • 3^rd party Lab results. While these aren’t infallible or impossible to forge, brands that can show current lab results are an indicator that they care about quality. Even better, if the products contain access to lab results and batch numbers right on the packaging.                    
• Don’t be taken in with hype or gorgeous design. You’d be appalled at how little CBD content is in some products out there.
