I'd never been a THC user until I asked my VA Primary Care doctor about scuttlebutt I'd heard about it's benefits. They confirmed to me in an off-hand manner that many Veterans have been doing it to self-medicate and avoid opioid use for chronic pain, as a sleep aid, and a way to limit over-use of alcohol, all things I was struggling with. It's a shame that Federally employed doctors are not allowed to recommend such life saving treatments, as I'm sure they would have if they were permitted.
Now I take a half of one before bed and sleep peacefully and restfully all night. Something I've never done since my deployment to Iraq in 2005. If I have particular painful joints in a day, I've replaced four fingers of liquid courage with a quarter gummy, and it does the trick wonderfully. My tolerance isn't quite to the point where I would feel comfortable driving my car or even working anywhere that has even low level of safety equipment like gloves, bump hats, or safety glasses, but it's absolutely worth it.
I feel like I have a new lease to enjoy my existence, and I've even begun losing weight because I've substantially reduced the empty alcohol calories. Thanks Kurativ!

In all honesty, these gummies didn’t work out for me. It seemed to have an opposite effect on me, but this is not uncommon for me. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. I decided to give them to my elderly mom who does have trouble sleeping at night. She said it was the best night sleep she’s had in years, she didn’t get up at all in the middle of the night. And in the morning, she didn’t feel any grogginess and felt refreshed.
